ORDER

This case was heard by the court on December 15, 1995, on the motion of the United States Trustee alleging that Sandra Brooks and/or Brooks’ Consumer Credit Consulting Agency, Inc., d/b/a Legal-Self-Help, Inc. is operating as a bankruptcy petition preparer in violation of several subsections of title 11 This case was heard by the court on December 15, 1995, on the motion of the United States Trustee alleging that Sandra Brooks and/or Brooks’ Consumer Credit Consulting Agency, Inc., d/b/a Legal-Self-Help, Inc. is operating as a bankruptcy petition preparer in violation of several subsections of title 11 U.S.C. § 110. The motion seeks an order imposing fines on Ms. Brooks and/or the above-named entities controlled by her for noncompliance with provisions of 11 U.S.C. § 110. The motion also seeks an order compelling compliance by Ms. Brooks and/or the above-named entities controlled by her with those provisions of the Bankruptcy Code which regulate and restrict the activities of bankruptcy petition preparers.

At the conclusion of the hearing the court indicated it might have another hearing to afford the office of the United States Trustee an opportunity to present the testimony of the debtor in this case and debtors in other cases and evidence by way of receipts that such debtors may be able to produce to document payments made by them to Ms. Brooks or the entities in whose name she is doing business, for services provided by them.

Accordingly, this case is set for further hearing at 1:30 p.m., Thursday May 2, 1996, Second Floor Courtroom, United States Bankruptcy Court, 100 East Vine Street, Lexington, Kentucky, on the motion of the United States Trustee, any amendments to the motion, or other related motions which the United States Trustee may desire to notice for hearing at that time.

The United States Trustee shall be responsible for subpoenaing or submitting orders compelling the appearance of the debtor Kay Helen Kanatzar and such other individual debtors whose testimony the United States Trustee desires to present at that time, and, if the office of the United States Trustee deems appropriate, subpoenaing relevant records of the bankruptcy petition preparer or preparers identified in the motion.
